JAMES PRIESTLEY, 7DIGITAL
James Priestley is the Vice President of Business Development (APAC) at 7digital. 7digital is a B2B digital music solutions company that provides all the tools needed to offer and manage music as a core part of experiences in social, fitness, digital music services and more. James is a business development executive with over 10 years of global technology licensing and digital experience.
After many years in the tech ecosystem, James has earned vast experience in all levels of commercial negotiation, licensing, partnership development and product development. He has a proven track record in building relationships that generate growth and revenue across consumer electronics, entertainment, media, and technology industries.
MATT SARACENI, SCA
Matt Saraceni is the Innovation Director of Audio on Demand content at Southern Cross Austereo.
Matt spent 8 years in a variety of on-air and off-air roles at Nova Entertainment. In 2014, he joined podcasting startup Omny Entertainment as Head of Content. Matt was also a proud founding member of Telstra Labs – the home for emerging technology and innovation for Telstra.
Matt’s experience falls under both Innovation as a Product Manager (ideation to prototype) and Incubation as a Product Owner (MVP to product-market validation).
ROWAN TOMBS, APP BOXER
Rowan Tombs is the Chief Strategy Officer at App Boxer and the Head of Strategy at The Xover Agency. App Boxer is an award-winning Australian company providing mobile app development solutions for startups and enterprise business.
Rowan specialises in strategic thinking, marketing and business opportunity to identify effective growth. He is focused on listening, testing and discovering success with his clients.
PHIL STORMER, STORMER MUSIC
Phil Stormer runs Stormer Music, a private music school that exists to provide a high quality, professional musical tuition experience for students of all ages, abilities and walks of life. He also runs Brightside Music – where he hires world-class musicians for events, weddings, venues and functions.
Phil performs professionally under his own name. He also coaches and empowers musicians to be better in business.
BAZ PALMER, VAMPR & WEYO
Baz Palmer is the lead guitarist for Hunters and Collectors and the co-founder of music startups Weyo and Vampr. He has spent the last twelve years working in the space where tech meets the entertainment industry.
Hunters and Collectors is a unique artistic entity with a loyal global following, and multi-platinum album sales. Baz’s experiences as an artist informed his launch of a 360º production house that included an indie label, publishing and management arm and boutique recording studio. As Weyo and Vampr grow, his teams’ collective ambition is to use technologies for causes that can make a difference.
