About

The AIM Young Studio is our Saturday school for gifted and talented students which offers beginner, intermediate and advanced training for young people between the ages of 12 to 17.

Are you a budding composer or producer? This course is for you. Young Producer is available to students who are wanting to specialise in composing, producing and recording music.

Designed to develop production compositional techniques and skills, this intensive face-to-face program includes weekly: 

  • one-hour individual lesson,
  • one-hour group composition class; and
  • one-hour group deep listening and analysis class,
  • two-hour performance practice class towards a finished audio asset or an end of term live performance in one of AIM’s performance venues.
