On-campus auditions are back at AIM!
If you’re applying to study at the Australian Institute of Music, you’ll need to audition or submit a portfolio to be assessed for admission. Live auditions are now held on campus every week. They’re a great way to get instant feedback and check out our incredible facilities.
This event is to book an audition for our performance and musical theatre degrees.
What to expect at your audition

For contemporary performance, you will perform 2 contrasting pieces from any contemporary genre (total duration no longer than 10 minutes). Vocalists must use either backing tracks or an accompanist for both songs. Instrumentalists must perform at least 1 song with a backing track or accompanist. Bring any other optional documents as per the requirement form received after completing your application. All applicants need to bring their own instruments. A piano will be available for those auditioning for classical piano and for accompanists.
Music Theatre
