Musical Excellence Scholarships
We are pleased to announce the new Musical Excellence Scholarships. We have ten scholarships available valued at $7,000 each. These scholarships provide a cash stipend to help cover living expenses during the first year of study. Students enrolling in the following courses in 2025 are eligible for the Musical Excellence scholarship:
- Bachelor of Music (Composition)
- Bachelor of Music (Creative Technology)
- Bachelor of Music (Musicology)
- Bachelor of Music (Performance)
- Bachelor of Music Theatre
- Bachelor of Arts and Entertainment Management

The Justin Cosby Scholarship
Justin Cosby was the co-founder of Inertia Music. His passion was to discover, and be inspired by, great music.
This scholarship is established with funding from Justin’s family, business associates & friends, and provides two thirds of the cost of the degree – which is $45,000 – plus mentoring and internship opportunities for one domestic student per year to undertake a Bachelor of Arts & Entertainment Management.

Applicants must:
- Meet entry requirements for the selected course
- Be commencing an AIM Bachelor of Arts & Entertainment Management program in 2025.
Students will be selected on:
- Submission of a max 200-word personal statement about your love of music, and what impact this scholarship would have on you.
Applicants will be considered by the Justin Cosby Scholarship Selection Panel.
Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview.
A maximum of $45,000 will be awarded for the course.
Scholarship applications are reviewed once an applicant has accepted a place in the Bachelor of Arts & Entertainment Management degree.
