Candice Boyd

Academic Lecturer

Candice Boyd has been teaching singing and violin since age 18. Candice specialises in contemporary singing and violin, as well as classical violin.  In 2010, she began teaching the choirs and small vocal groups at Newtown High School of the Performing Arts.

Candice was awarded her Bachelor of Music at the Australian Institute of Music in 2012 and in the same year began studying for her Masters of Music.   

In 2013, she began teaching private vocal lessons and vocal ensemble groups also at the Australian Institute of Music and commenced private vocal tutoring at Excelsia College in 2016.

She is currently performing with her self-managed duo Am Believe I, developing her skills as a singing violinist, which was also the focus area of her Masters research.  She was awarded her Masters of Music in 2017.
