Meghann O’Neill

Academic Lecturer

Meghann O’Neill teaches video game music courses at The Australian Institute of Music and Sydney Conservatorium of Music.    

Meghann composes music for games, the most recent being emergent stealth game, Wildfire. She has a particular interest in dynamic music systems that deliver seamless composition to react to interactive context. Meghann has been a regular speaker at PAX Australia and APRA/AMCOS events and workshops.  

Her more unusual achievements include the creation of interactive hint guides, to connect older game genres to younger audiences.  

Meghann has a Bachelor of Music (Music Education) from Sydney Conservatorium and a Master of Social Development from UNSW.  She has reviewed games for PC Powerplay magazine, HYPER, PC Gamer and Junkee.
