New Zealand born Sam Mentink heads up the creative technology department at the Naarm campus.
Both a certified Ableton trainer and Masters graduate, Sam’s history as a multidisciplinary artist spans almost 20 years.
Beginning as an events promoter and designer, Sam has run successful music events spanning three counties and seen numerous music production and DJ products reach international markets.
As a practising artist, Sam saw the release of his debut album in 2020 alongside performing groundbreaking audio-visual shows throughout New Zealand, Australia and Europe.
As an educator, Sam thrives on enabling artists to realize their creative ideas by using process-driven techniques to reach professional-level outcomes.
