In recognition of the exceptional strength of the 2026 applicant pool, we are proud to have chosen to expand our support by awarding two scholarships this year. With candidates of this calibre, expanding that support was an easy

extension of our commitment to nurturing emerging talent.

Commencing her studies in 2026 at AIM’s Melbourne campus, Amelie Logan brings a dedicated and thoughtful approach to the music industry, combining her background as a performer with hands-on experience in Australia’s live music and festival scene.

After moving from Aotearoa/New Zealand, she immersed herself in Melbourne’s vibrant gigs and festivals, sparking a curiosity for the planning and management behind the scenes.

“I’m truly honoured to receive The Justin Cosby Scholarship. It’s an incredible opportunity to further

develop my skills and deepen my understanding of the live music industry. I’m excited to continue

learning, gaining hands-on experience, and contributing to a scene that has given me so much

inspiration and passion.”

Amelie has gained practical experience at major festivals, including Pitch Music & Arts, Beyond the

Valley, and Strawberry Fields, building a strong understanding of festival operations and a clear focus

on supporting artists and the wider music community.

Through her Bachelor of Music Business at AIM, Amelie is aiming to develop the skills and networks to establish a sustainable career in live music and events.
