Support Act holds Workplace Wellbeing Check-ins for Music Industry

Support Act, Australia’s premier mental health charity dedicated exclusively to assisting the music industry maintain solid mental health during a challenging time is staging a series of Workplace Wellbeing Check-ins for those in music looking for fresh tools to feel better.

Creativity: How We Create and How We Get Stuck: October 15th

Creativity is at the heart of the music industry, and one’s individual relationship with creativity and motivation can hugely impact productivity, self-worth and wellbeing. This event will showcase diverse perspectives of people who work in music, and their unique experience with their own creativity and how they harness it. Full event info here. Register here.

The crew and production professionals that are the backbone of the Australian music industry have been some of the hardest hit by the pandemic. In response to this mental health crisis, Support Act is hosting a 4-part workshop series in partnership with Crew Care called Plug-In

These sessions are facilitated by Support Act’s Mental Health Educator Ash King featuring Live Nation’s Nik Tischler, which have been designed to specifically address and support the needs of live music crew. 

Each session approaches a different topic to support the well-being of crew and how to create mentally healthy practices as we go about our daily lives and work. Full event info here. Register here.
