When you apply through AIM’s Early Entry program you can audition and secure your place for 2024 before you sit your Year 12 exams.

How does it work?

The Early Entry program is available to all current Year 12 students in Australia.  Here’s how it works:

Submit your course application

Once you’ve decided on your course, submit an Early Entry Application before 22 September 2023. You don’t need your ATAR to do this.

ATTEND AN AUDITION OR SUBMIT YOUR PORTFOLIO

This is your opportunity to demonstrate your musical talent and skill. Early Entry auditions are held before the end of September. Find out about auditioning at AIM .

ACCEPT YOUR EARLY ENTRY OFFER

Receive your offer before your exams, having secured your 2024 place at the Australian Institute of Music.

Early Entry offers are conditional upon you meeting all course specific application conditions, as well as the relevant course eligibility and admission criteria. Bachelor of Music applicants will need to provide a Record of School Achievement, and Bachelor of Arts and Entertainment Management applicants will need to provide evidence of a + 60 ATAR.
