aim SCHOLARSHIPS
Below are a list of scholarships available to Domestic applicants.
Applications for SP1 2024 scholarships close Monday 22 January 2024.
REGIONAL AND RURAL SCHOLARSHIP
Available to domestic students accepted into any AIM Bachelor program.
Eligibility and Evidence
Applicants must:
- Live in an area defined as regional and rural (as defined by Government)
- Meet entry requirements for the selected course
- Be commencing an AIM Bachelor program in 2024.
Preference will be given to those who are also first in family to attend higher education.
Students will be selected on:
- Academic merit
- Performance at audition or during interview
- Assessment of a short video (no more than 10 minutes) outlining why they would benefit from studying with AIM.
Applicants will be considered by the AIM Scholarship Selection Panel.
Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview. A letter of Recommendation or referee from a school or community representative is advised for all applicants.
Value
The value is $13,500 per student, awarded towards tuition fees.
A maximum of $1,500 will be awarded per full-time study period (trimester) from the start of the course.

INDIGENOUS SCHOLARSHIP
Available to students who are Australian citizens and who are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
Eligibility and Evidence
Applicants must:
- Provide confirmation of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent
- Meet entry requirements for the selected course
- Be commencing an AIM program in 2024
Students will be selected on:
- Academic merit
- Performance at audition or during interview
- Assessment of a short video (no more than 10 minutes) outlining why they would benefit from studying with AIM.
Applicants will be considered by the Scholarship Selection Panel. Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend an interview.
A letter of Recommendation or referee from an Indigenous leader or representative is advised for all applicants.
Value
The value is $13,500 per student, awarded towards tuition fees.
A maximum of $1,500 will be awarded per full-time study period (trimester) from the start of the course.

Excellence in performance and research scholarship
Eligibility and Evidence
Available to domestic students eligible to study a Master of Music.
Selection
Students will be selected on:
- Academic merit
- Performance at audition or during interview
- Assessment of a short video (no more than 10 minutes) outlining how they will achieve excellence in research as a concept.
Applicants will be considered by the Scholarship Selection Panel.
Value
The value is $10,000 per student, awarded towards tuition fees.
A maximum of $2,500 will be awarded per full-time study period (trimester) from the start of the course.

Excellence in arts and entertainment management
Available for domestic students eligible for entry into the Master of Arts and Entertainment Management.
Selection
Applicants must:
- Meet entry requirements for the selected course
- Be commencing a Master of Arts and Entertainment Management program in 2024
Students will be selected on:
- Academic merit
- Attendance at an interview
Assessment of a short (no more than 10 minute) video outlining interest and what they consider excellence in arts and entertainment management.
Applicants will be considered by the Scholarship Selection Panel.
Value
The value is $15,000 per student, awarded towards tuition fees.
A maximum of $2,500 will be awarded per full-time study period (trimester) from the start of the course.
