Date: Tuesday, May 12 – Friday, May 15, 2026

Location: AIM Sydney Campus, Level 6 Amphitheatre

Step into the world of disco with GLOW, where AIM’s rising stars light up the stage with a high‑energy celebration of the music, movement and freedom of the 1970s.

This 70‑minute live showcase celebrates the rhythm, individuality, and revolutionary spirit of the disco era. Featuring powerhouse vocals, a full live band and a setlist inspired by icons like Donna Summer, the Bee Gees, Gloria Gaynor and Chic, this concert‑style performance captures the essence of an iconic era.

Students will experience firsthand how classic influences shaped modern pop and performance art, with nods to contemporary icons like Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, and The Scissor Sisters.

For schools, GLOW offers strong links to curriculum outcomes, supporting studies in genre evolution, performance technique, music history, and ensemble practice. Teachers can use the show as inspiration for classroom reflection, creative response tasks, or performance analysis activities.

With its unique blend of storytelling and musical insight, GLOW is a live learning experience that connects students to the energy, creativity, and cultural legacy of disco, while encouraging their own artistic growth.

Teachers can seamlessly incorporate GLOW into their curriculum, offering students a vibrant opportunity to shine and explore their creativity through the disco music revolution.
