Step into the world of songwriting and unleash your creativity at our dedicated School Holiday Songwriting Workshop – a one-day intensive created especially for Years 10–12 students who are passionate about music and ready to bring their own ideas to life.
With guidance from AIM academics Dominic Cabusi and Bronte Maree O’Neill, you’ll learn directly from industry professionals who write, produce, and perform for a living, and know how to turn an idea into a song that shines.
Together, you’ll explore how lyrics, melody, harmony, and rhythm come together to tell your story and express who you are as an artist while also collaborating with other young musicians in a supportive, creative environment.
You’ll learn practical songwriting techniques, experiment with styles and sounds, and discover new ways to make your music stand out before presenting your newfound skills with a live performance of your original music for your friends and family.
Whether you’re an aspiring songwriter, performer, or just eager to explore your musical potential, this workshop is your chance to dive in, create something original, and experience what it’s like to be part of AIM’s creative community.
