Students will collaborate in ensembles to create an original song from concept to completion.
This includes writing, arranging and developing promotional strategies, culminating in a live auditorium performance and a professionally produced live recording session – providing students with an authentic live recording experience that celebrates their performance and results in a tangible record of their creative work.

Music Business & Marketing: Go beyond the creative side and explore what it takes to promote and position an artist in today’s music landscape, and develop a real promotional strategy around your original song.
Songwriting & Lyricism: Work with professional songwriters to develop an original song from concept to completion by exploring melody, lyricism, and song structure in a collaborative, creative environment.
Performance: Develop your stage presence, performance craft, and confidence as an artist as you work towards a live concert performance of your original work at the end of the program.
