A passionate singer and educator, Vee Stewart thinks there aren’t many things better than sharing her love of singing, songwriting, and vocal creativity with others.
Vee’s professional portfolio includes vocal directing, performance, and arranging at a national and international level. She has worked alongside elite musicians, including Grammy award winner David Pack, Grammy award-nominated Jazz pianist Patrice Rushen (Temptations, Chaka Khan, Babyface), and Grammy award-winning producer and drummer, Ricky Lawson (Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, Brian McKnight).
As an educator, she has previously worked as a vocal tutor and sessional lecturer for the foundational, intermediate and advanced vocal studies units within the Faculty of Arts at Macquarie University.
Vee’s Ph.D. research Story, Song and Voice is the largest study ever undertaken of Australian singer-songwriters and their creative processes. Vee is the Founder and Director of The Sydney Voice Studio, and is a former appointed national council, board member and vice-president of the peak body for Australian singing teachers, The Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing (ANATS). She currently serves on the board of The Australian Voice Association (AVA).
