Glen Phimister is a highly experienced audio engineer who has worked with some of the greatest artists in Australian and international music. He started his career in the early 70s at London’s legendary Trident Studios, assisting a steady stream of major acts such as Queen, Elton John, David Bowie, and Harry Neilson.

In the mid 70’s Glen joined AIR Studios London, owned by perhaps the most gifted producer of them all, Beatles producer George Martin. Glen further extended his training under George and many other producers, engineers, and artists at AIR.

Glen then joined EMI Studios 301 in Sydney in the late 70’s as a staff engineer – bearing witness and working the faders for an astonishing parade of acts including INXS, Slim Dusty, Split Enz, Duran Duran, Richard Clapton, John Farnham, Wendy Mathews and Dragon.

More recently Glenn has worked as a freelance engineer for projects such as Sydney Olympics 2000, Slim Dusty’s 100th album, ARIA winning Jazz Police, Olivia Newton-John, IOTA, Prague Symphony Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Home and Away, and many live/location, and ABC recordings.
