Classical Masterclass: Make Music Fest

Join us for an immersive masterclass in classical music at AIM. Perfect for talented classical musicians interested in taking their playing to an elite level with higher education, this highly collaborative experience will involve:

  • Learning an ensemble classical piece conducted by one of AIM’s acclaimed teachers
  • Exploring your existing repertoire
  • Working with our composition students on interpreting original music
  • Recording your ensemble piece in our state-of-the-art studios

This workshop is a part of Make Music Fest, AIM’s future student festival and is ideally suited to Year 11 and 12, recent school leaver or mature age students interested in studying at AIM.

Meet our current classical students and gain valuable insight on the specialised mentorship available to our classical cohort. Rehearse with one of our experienced conductors and enjoy a live talk from one of our accomplished lecturers to provide a glimpse of what will be covered in your degree. Get a real sense of the truly collaborative musical community you’ll be joining at AIM.

During our day of incredible music workshops, you’ll learn, play, meet other students and experience the amazing vibe at AIM!  Check out the schedule for the day here.
