Musician Performance Workshop: Make Music Fest

NOTE: We are almost FULL! We are still accepting registrations from vocalists and instrumentalists but apologise that we have reached the maximum number of bass players and drummers who can participate.

Experience a “day in the life” of being a musician at AIM! Collaborate with other young musos, rehearse, record, and play live. Our industry veteran lecturers and talented alumni will guide you through the day.

This workshop is a part of Make Music Fest, AIM’s future student festival and is ideally suited to Year 11 and 12, recent school leaver or mature age students interested in studying at AIM.

Our Performance Workshop is an introduction to our super fun ensemble classes. They involve students getting together to learn and play songs in a variety of styles – one of the coolest parts of studying at AIM. At Make Music Fest, you’ll join one for the day!

Get ready to:

  • Workshop a tune with like-minded musicians
  • Record it in our state-of-the-art studios
  • Perform it, live on stage!

Whether you’re an aspiring vocalist, instrumentalist or keen to experiment with Afro-Latin sounds, you’ll have a blast. Bring your instrument and be ready for an incredible day of music at AIM.

We have amazing and accomplished AIM graduates to guide you on the day. Dominic Cabusi and Gian Timothy Gho are both gun musicians who’ve done incredible things since graduating from AIM.

During our day of incredible music workshops, you’ll learn, perform, meet other students and experience the amazing vibe at AIM!  Check out the schedule for the day here.
