SYD | Holiday HSC Masterclass

What Style(s) of Music will you be performing? AIM’s HSC Performance Workshop is designed exclusively for Year 12 Music 1 and 2 students who are interested in improving and polishing their performance works for their assessments, trial performances and HSC.

JOIN US FOR OUR HSC MASTERCLASS

Date: Monday 22nd April, 2024

Time: 10 am – 5:00 pm

Location: 66 Harrington St, The Rocks NSW 2000 – Enter via, 27 Nurses Walk.

This all-day workshop includes two important sessions:

Morning: Session 1

In the morning session, you will workshop your HSC performance works with an expert instrumentalist in your chosen style. Together you will focus on important musical parameters based on performance characteristics and the concepts of music.

Afternoon: Session 2

The afternoon session is designed around performance practice. You will perform the material studied in the morning session and receive feedback from experienced HSC teachers and music experts. This session also covers issues such as performance anxiety and developing focus under stress, delivered by AIM’s experienced lecturers.

In addition, AIM staff will provide advice on examination ensembles, performance material, scores, and parts, and provide advice on booking accompanying musicians for performance examinations.

Please note: This HSC Masterclass is currently only accepting students of a Contemporary nature (Pop, Jazz, Soul, Rnb, Rock, Funk, Folk, Music Theatre etc) We do not currently have allocation for Classical students, but welcome you to enrol for our upcoming Winter Holiday Workshops.
