The latest episode of AIM’s “It’s Raining Mentors” podcast is dedicated to providing Australian songwriters with everything they need to know about music copyright, licensing and royalties. Our hosts Josh Pyke and Elana Stone spoke to expert guests Milly Petriella of APRA-AMCOS and Lynne Small, CEO of the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA), to demystify this world and help Aussie songwriters learn how to make money from their music.

The “It’s Raining Mentors” podcast is hosted by lauded Australian musicians Josh Pyke and Elana Stone. The AIM co-production seeks to “peek under the hood” of the Aussie industry and provide insights via interviews with insiders. Our new season of episodes will feature experts from Support Act, Sounds Australia and Gyrostream and in-depth interviews with artists including Montaigne and Thanh Bui.
