This week’s guest for Music Industry Insights is “Musicians and Addiction” author Paul Saintilan. The interview will be filmed and streamed live from the Australian Institute of Music’s Sydney campus on Tuesday 9th March.
Sadly, life in the music industry has often been associated with mental health challenges, substance abuse and addiction. It doesn’t have to be that way, and there’s a growing chorus of voices seeking to understand the issues and address the causes. In this unmissable AIM Industry Insights event, we speak to Paul Saintilan, author of the new book Musicians and Addiction: Research and Recovery Stories. Paul Saintilan is the CEO of Music Australia, the co-founder of the Buddhist Recovery Network, the former Dean of Collarts and lecturer at AIM.
